What is No-gi Jiu-Jitsu? 🥋
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a grappling-based martial art that focuses on controlling and submitting an opponent using technique, leverage, and body positioning — not strength.
It’s known as “the gentle art” because it teaches you how to defend yourself without striking. Instead, you’ll learn how to take an opponent to the ground, control them, and apply submissions like chokes or joint locks.
